Chimera Winterguard has had tremendous success over its short 6-year existence, winning 2 S.A.P.A.(Southern Association of Performing Arts) championships in 2016 and 2018 and never placing outside the top 3. 

Dozens of young people have learned teamwork, leadership, pushing beyond limits, time  management, and  most importantly, belief in oneself while a member of Chimera.
The problem is that winterguard is a VERY expensive activity. Between paying staff , purchasing equipment, a performance floor, uniforms, performance insurance, and travel expenses, it costs upwards of $30,000.00 to run a winterguard. The students are paying for those costs out of their pockets. We need your help to make this positive and enriching activity more affordable and to allow more students in our community to achieve their dreams!
